Acoustic inspection with the TABSHOOTER® TBS72(140)-LD-PRPD: COMPRESSED AIR, GASES (O2,CO2, N2, NH3, CH4, H2…), VACUUM, STEAM. The unique “acoustic leak detection camera” TABSHOOTER® TBS72(140)-LD-PRPD is able to find and visualize leakages (Compressed air, compressed gases, vacuum, steam…) and high voltage faults locations (partial discharges).
With the TABSHOOTER® TBS72(140)-LD-PRPD, you can see and hear (via headphone or speaker) ultrasounds coming from leakages, mechanical problems (shock, friction…), high voltage partial discharges (with PRPD pattern). Low frequency noises are also detectable (from 2kHz).
You can see (as an option), the thermal image (embedded 256×192 pixels with a -20°C > +550°C infrared thermal camera) emitted by an installation with abnormal hotspots.
This dual technology device is even more effective for preventive or predictive maintenance and more particularly for energy savings.
Of course, you can store all your measurement data (photo & video) in the device memory to download them to PC for reports creation.

TABSHOOTER WORKING PROCESS
Compressed air and other gases leak detection has never been easier to do. Leaks locations colored spots are displayed on TABSHOOTER® TBS72(140)-LD-PRPD with its large 8” LCD screen (a), which detects from very small to very large leak with fully automatic mode even in noisy environments. You can adjust frequency filter if necessary (from 2 to 100 kHz) to avoid industrial perturbating noises. Detection can be done up to several tens of meters away.
BEAMFORMING acoustic algorithm automatically detects leaks with the possibility to have their flow and cost estimations (K function).
Ideal for energy audits (ISO 50001) or for other leak detection needs.
